This explains what DumpSpots.com collects and why.

What we collect

Email. If you write to us we keep the message so we can reply.

Location. "Near me" asks your browser for your location. It's used on your device to sort results and is never sent to us or stored.

Server logs. Our host records standard logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages help people. It sets cookies and collects device and usage information; IP anonymization is on. Opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Advertising

We show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this site and others. Opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Cookies

DumpSpots itself sets no cookies; the analytics and advertising services above do. Block or delete them in your browser; the site still works.

Children

The site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may access, correct or delete personal information we hold, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We don't sell personal information. Email hello@dumpspots.com.
